London After Midnight

I spent a whole weekend in Helsinki for a reason that I wanted to see one specific band and I also met my friend at the same. On Saturday I was wandering in the city, but the weather was so burning that the visit left short. However I found this dress in the picture below and it's lovely! I love asymmetrical garments so this one is welcome to my wardrobe. I decided to put in on immediately so this was my outfit on Saturday when I headed to Tavastia.
London After Midnight was awesome. This was my first time when I saw them and I regret that I didn't go to their gig the last time when they were in Finland. I hope they come here again in the future. The pictures were taken by my phone so the quality is what it is :)

Black is such a happy color

What a heat wave is going on here right now and it's a wonder that I don't complain about that at all! Usually I'm not that big fan of the sunny days, but now I've spent my days on the beach by reading or swimming in the lake. On Monday I visited quickly the downtown and my intention was to search for the new bikinis because my old started showing the marks of the age (upper part was worn and lower part was all too loose). I bought the new ones in all conscience 'cause the old ones were in use for nearly a decade. These are quite simple, but that suits me well. I especially like that bottom when there is that folded panel on the waist. Generally speaking the bikini selection was quite poor this year. Models were boring or wrong color!
Nick Cave's satire has been my loyal friend this week.

Hail Satan and Drink Coffee

The heat wave came back and I dipped into my closet to find something lighter on. Black Craf's top is an excellent garment for a day like this. Tights are totally unnecessary when the thermometer is pointing +25, but I think that the outfit looks more polished with them.
This week vanished at the speed of light. Monday and Tuesday went by recovering from the past weekend and on Wednesday night we decided to go to play mini-golf! It was fun and I lost only a few points to my other half. I guess that the last time when I played the mini-golf was over ten years ago. Perhaps I could go to play it anew later when that place is situated so close. Nothing else special happened this week, just normal life so I haven't much to tell you this time :)

Gothnic Sunday

On Sunday afternoon I headed to Näsinpuisto where was arranged gothic picnic. This park is situated close to my place so the trip was short. The weather was good and warm so I decided to robe myself casually by wearing t-shirt and shorts. We spent several hours in the park and I drank a bit of red wine.

Lumous gothic festival

Today I've felt a bit of tiredness for a reason, what a wonderful weekend it was! Lumous gothic festival was arranged during the weekend and I was on the go from Thursday to Sunday.
Saturday's outfit. (Thanks to Niina for the pictures)
Dress: Self made, Belt: Second hand, Shoes: Vagabond, Bag: Second hand
I had the cool goth nails! A bit impractical for the hair clung to them all the time.
The weekend encompassed the great music, people, drinks and a lot of pondering how to dress! Unfortunately I only have the outfit pictures of Saturday when I wore the self made lace dress. The best band was Malaise and Autogen arranged the best show definitely even though the music was not exactly my piece of cake. The other bands I checked out: Two Witches, Unzyme, Chaos Research, Leather Strip and Ordo Rosarius Equilibrio.

Do you see what I see?

 Pieces from a day's look
When after a rainy day follows another rainy day you can entertain yourself by playing for instance Skyrim. My other half borrowed this game to me because I was pondering for long to start playing it and here I go now and no end in sight. The fantasy adventure with the endless possibilities wrapped me inside in a flash. This game offers a long trip with the dragons, giants and different tasks to name a few. Any other fans here?
Today I visited again library (dunno really why, because I do have a bunch of books at home waiting...) and I bumped into this piece while walking by the occult shelf. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle is well known as a creator of Sherlock Holmes but he has also written many other pieces. The New Revelation sounds so tempting that I grabbed it with me and started reading it immediately. Parapsychology enthralls always so let's see what this book offers.

Soon it will be the weekend again and I'll head to Lumous gothic festival!  Perhaps I will meet some of you there?
